Welcome to Wagoner County Republican Party

Posted by Chair Wagoner County GOP · March 08, 2025 2:12 PM
The Wagoner County Republican Party stands firmly committed to the core principles of the Republican Party, rooted in individual liberty, limited government, and personal responsibility. We believe in the power of grassroots values, where the voices of everyday Oklahomans shape our priorities and guide our actions. Our mission is to promote governance that is truly of, by, and for the people, ensuring that every citizen has the opportunity to thrive in a free and prosperous society. By fostering open dialogue and encouraging community involvement, we strive to uphold the ideals that make our nation strong, while defending the rights and freedoms enshrined in our Constitution.

At the heart of our efforts is a dedication to empowering the people of Wagoner County to take an active role in their government. We champion policies that support economic growth, protect family values, and preserve the traditional way of life that defines our community. Through grassroots engagement, we work tirelessly to amplify the concerns of our neighbors, advocating for solutions that reflect the will of the people rather than the interests of distant elites. The Wagoner County Republican Party invites all who share our vision to join us in building a future where government serves the people, upholds our shared values, and secures the blessings of liberty for generations to come.

Precinct Chairs 2025-2027

Posted on Party Information by Chair Wagoner County GOP · February 15, 2025 11:07 AM

Precinct meetings were held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 7 pm at Indian Capital Technology Center, Wagoner County Campus, 31350 E State Hwy 51, Coweta, OK 74429.

Precinct meetings and elections are the basis of the Republican Party: Precinct meetings are the building blocks for the voice of the people and grassroots.

The business of the Precinct meeting is to:

  1. Elect new precinct officers for a 2-year term.
  2. Elect delegates to represent the precinct at the County Convention.
  3. Submit planks/amendments/changes to the Wagoner County GOP Platform, and Recommend changes to the OKGOP State Party Rules and State Party Platform.

Any person seeking to be seated as a delegate to any County or State Convention must:

  • Be a registered Republican in the Precinct and County by the date set by the County Executive Committee, December 31, 2024.
    And
  • Attend their duly called local Precinct Meeting or if unable to attend the Precinct Meeting, you must contact your Precinct Chair before the close of the week of the precinct meeting. If you cannot reach your Precinct Chair, contact your County Chair.
  • Be elected as a Delegate from the County Convention TO the State Convention.

All registered Republicans prior to December 31, 2024 are invited to attend. In order to streamline check-in, please bring your Voter ID card or you can locate your registration online and print it out.

If ALL of these requirements are NOT met a person may NOT be seated as a Delegate to the County Convention. No person may be seated as a Delegate to the Oklahoma Republican Party State Convention without being elected as a delegate from their respective County Convention without permission from the county chairman.

We welcome you to these meetings and look forward to seeing you there!

If your precinct number or voting location changed you would have received a new voter id card in the mail.  If you didn't then your precinct and voting location did not change.  If you don't know what your precinct number is, then you can click on "What's my precinct number?" below to find out.

What's my precinct number?

If you see "NO CHAIR" listed on the precinct you live in and you are a registered republican.  You can click on email on that precinct and it will email our Wagoner County GOP Chair and you can ask to be considered to be that precinct chair.

2024 Candidates

Posted on Candidate Information by Chair Wagoner County GOP · May 28, 2024 2:14 AM

On behalf of the Wagoner County Candidate Information Committee (“CIC”), we would like to welcome you to the 2024 CIC Questionnaire Results webpage.

The establishment of the CIC was approved by members of the Wagoner County Republican Party (“WCRP”) in 2018 at its County Convention. Its purpose is to determine to what extent candidates seeking to represent Wagoner County citizens truly understand and represent the Core Values adopted by the WCRP and codified in our Party Platform. This process is not intended to pick winners or losers among candidates. Rather, it compares candidates’ responses against our Core Values. The written questions are designed to be thought provoking and offer the candidates an opportunity to provide any explanatory comments they may wish to add. This process is done as a public service to Wagoner County voters to assist them in being well-informed when they go to the polls on June 18.

Follow-up interviews were conducted by way of a Zoom call between the candidate and members of the CIC. All interviews are conducted by the same moderator. These interviews were audio recorded, where consent was given by the candidate, and are included in each candidates’ links below.

For a complete copy of the CIC Rules codified in our Bylaws click here.

An objective raw Conservative Index score was derived based on initial responses to the questionnaire and then was adjusted, where appropriate, based on the follow-up interview. The adjusted Conservative Index score below indicates a candidates' response consistency with the Core Values of the WCRP.

During this 2024 Election Cycle there were 15 elective offices up for election. In 5 of those races, the incumbents ran unopposed and were reelected; in the other 2 races the Republican candidates did not draw a Republican opponent but will appear on the November ballot. In the remaining 8 races, there were a total of 21 candidates who were sent Questionnaires; 9 of whom chose to participate in this process. In addition, there were 2 additional candidates whose information appears below by virtue of their having participated in a prior year’s CIC process.

On Thursday, June 6, we will be hosting a Candidate Forum at the NSU Broken Arrow Campus.
(3100 New Orleans St, Broken Arrow, OK) at 7:00 pm. We invite you to attend; come early at 6:15 and meet the candidates in a one-on-one setting. More information can be found by Clicking on this link.

We hope after reviewing this information you will take a moment to quickly respond to a one question survey indicating how you heard about our CIC Questionnaire and results.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and review this information. I hope you will also take a few moments to take a quick tour of our website to see what other information is available.
