VOTE NO on SQ802.
The June 30 primary election ballot includes a vote on State Question 802, an Oklahoma Medicare expansion bill. The Wagoner County Republican Party Executive Committee unanimously opposes this State Question and encourages all voters to turn out in large numbers and VOTE NO on this SQ802.
- If approved, this mandate would be added to the Oklahoma State Constitution, taking it out of the hands of the governor and legislature to administrate, control or change.
- If this question passes, Oklahoma would be obligated to provide medical assistance to adults at or below 138% of the federal poverty level regardless of whether the US Congress continues to pay a large portion of the costs. Congress would dictate how much money actually leaves Oklahoma’s treasury. Moreover, federal bureaucrats set the federal poverty level, which would determine Medicaid eligibility. The Oklahoma Legislature would merely be a conduit to finance the federal government’s policy decisions. This is unconstitutional.
- A spokeswoman for Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt (R) said, "If SQ802 passes, our state agencies will experience deep cuts, because the ballot measure offers no mechanism to pay for it. The governor does not support this unfunded mandate."
Please not that a low voter turnout is expected, and it is critical that all Republicans get out and vote Tuesday, June 30th to keep this measure from passing.

🚨 ATTENTION: HELP STOP THE EMINENT VOTER FRAUD IN OKLAHOMA! 🚨
I wanted to forward a email sent out by the OKGOP last night dealing with a major overreach by the Oklahoma Supreme Court. You can find the email the sent below. However, if you were not aware on Monday, May 4, 2020 the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled to remove the requirement of providing a copy of an Oklahoma photo ID or Notary Seal to verify a voter's authenticity when voting by Absentee Ballot. The ruling states that all is necessary now is just a signature on the ballot, with NO proof that it is your ballot and your vote!
State lawmakers are working to pass SB 1779 that would require Oklahomans voting by absentee ballot to include a photocopy of their ID. This would make Oklahoma one of only three states with similar requirements. Follow this link the full article explaining the bill.
