I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. We will not be having our monthly meeting on the first Thursday of January 2025. Instead we are moving it to the second Thursday of the month. We look forward to seeing you then.

State Sen. Dana Prieto, will be giving an update on the newly formed Freedom Caucus in the Oklahoma Legislature.
Prieto was elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 2022, proudly representing District 34 in Tulsa County.

We want to personally thank everyone that came out to our Annual Cobbler & Conversation Fundraiser this year. It was a great success and we was able to pay for our General Election Mailer and we will give an update at our Next Monthly Meeting this Coming Thursday, November 7, 2024. Our Guest Speaker will be Congressman Kevin Hern, Oklahoma's 1st Congressional District. You can find more information about the meeting below.

Guest Speaker: Kim David, Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner
Commissioner Kim David is a native Oklahoman and an established trendsetter during her tenure in the Oklahoma State Senate from 2010 to 2022. She was sworn in to her first term as a Corporation Commissioner on January 9, 2023.
Commissioner David is the first woman since statehood to be named majority leader of the state senate. She is the first woman to chair the Senate Appropriations Committee and is the first republican woman to serve as majority whip.
During her final term in the state senate, Commissioner David sponsored legislation creating a hydrogen fuel production standard and establishing provisions for reporting hydrogen fuel production.
